This is a rare ticket envelope and loose ticket stub from the opening week of the Original Broadway production of the COLE PORTER, ROBERT KATSCHER and ROWLAND LEIGH musical "YOU NEVER KNOW" at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. (The production opened September 21st, 1938 and ran for only 78 performances.) ..... The musical starred CLIFTON WEBB, LUPE VELEZ and LIBBY HOLMAN and featured TOBY WING, REX O'MALLEY, JUNE PREISSER, EDDIE GALE, CHARLES KEMPER, ROGER STEARNS, WESLEY BENDER, DAN HARDEN, TRUMAN GAIGE, RAY DENNIS and THE DEBONAIRS ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing to the envelope and a small tear in the ticket stub, this rare set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian<br>.
