This is a hard to find die-cut advertising handbill (flyer) announcing the opening dates of Original London production of the Pulitzer Prize winning JONATHAN LARSON musical "RENT" at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London. (The Broadway production opened April 29th, 1996 at the Nederlander Theatre and closed September 7th, 2008 after 5123 performances. The London production began previews on April 21st, 1998, officially opened on May 12th, 1998 and ran for 18 months.) .....
Four members of the Original Broadway production recreated their roles in London: ADAM PASCAL, ANTHONY RAPP, WILSON JERMAINE HEREDIA and JESSE L. MARTIN. ..... DETAILS: The single page, two-sided handbill measures approx. 8" X 3 7/8" inches, is printed on a heavy card stock and includes dates for the preview and opening performances on the backside. The letters in R-E-N-T are cut-out ..... CONDITION: This rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or "Rent-Head". This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
