    I'm currently listing a large number of playbills representing some of the most memorable Broadway performances of the 1950's and 1960's ....... This is a rare February 6th, 1969 PREMIERE PERFORMANCE playbill from the Original Broadway production of the JERRY HERMAN, JEROME LAWRENCE and ROBERT E. LEE musical "DEAR WORLD" which played the Mark Hellinger Theatre in New York City. (The production opened February 6th, 1969 and ran for only 132 performances.) ..... The musical starred ANGELA LANSBURY and featured MILO O'SHEA, JANE CONNELL, CARMEN MATHEWS, KURT PETERSON, PAMELA HALL, WILLIAM LARSEN, MICHAEL DAVIS, GENE VARRONE, CHARLES WELCH, MIGUEL GODREAU, JOE MASIELL, TED AGRESS, TY McCONNELL, JOHN TALIAFERRO and ZALE KESSLER ..... Side Note: ANGELA LANSBURY received the 1969 Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Musical" for this role ..... Includes a full page ad for the Original Broadway Cast recording of "DEAR WORLD" on Columbia Records (last scanned image) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a tiny tear in the outside edge of the cover, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
