This is a rare February 14th, 1972 playbill from the PREMIERE PERFORMANCE of the Original Broadway production of the JIM JACOBS and WARREN CASEY musical "GREASE" which played the Eden Theatre in New York City. (The production opened February 14th, 1972 at the Eden Theatre, moved on June 7th, 1972 to the Broadhurst Theatre and finally on November 21st, 1972 settled into the Royale Theatre for over seven years, running for 3388 performances.) ..... The cast included BARRY BOSTWICK as "Danny Zuko", CAROLE DEMAS as "Sandy Dumbrowski" and ADRIENNE BARBEAU as "Rizzo" and featured DON BILLETT, WALTER BOBBIE, JIM BORRELLI, JAMES CANNING, KATIE HANLEY, TOM HARRIS, ILENE KRISTEN, DOROTHY LEON, TIMOTHY MEYERS, KATHI MOSS, ALAN PAUL, MARYA SMALL and GARN STEPHENS ..... closed in 1980, the 3,388 performance run was the longest in Broadway history, although it was surpassed by

CONDITION: (Please Note!) There is a light vertical crease, a staple indentation in the top right corner, slight discoloration to some inside pages and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare playbill will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
