This is a rare souvenir programme (brochure) from the 1914 Christmas Holiday engagement of the BRANDON THOMAS comedy "CHARLEY'S AUNT" at the Prince of Wales' Theatre in London. (The Original London production premiered in February 1892 at the Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmonds. It later opened on December 21st, 1892 at the Royalty Theatre in London, transferred on January 30th, 1893 to the larger Globe Theatre and ran for 1466 performances, closing on December 19th, 1896.) ..... The Original London production starred and was produced by the former D'Oyly Carte Opera Company actor W. S. PENLEY and the cast included playwright BRANDON THOMAS, ERNEST HENDRIE, PERCY LYNDAL, HARRY FARMER, CECIL H. THORNBURY, G.
