    This is a rare January 20th, 1910 program (playbill) from the three-night, Pre-Broadway engagement of the E. H. SOTHERN and JULIA MARLOWE Company at the Providence Opera House in Providence, Rhode Island. (The company would open February 7th, 1910 at New York's Academy of Music for a six-week run, closing March 21st, 1910.) ..... The repertoire included performances of William Shakespeare's "ROMEO and JULIET" and "TAMING OF THE SHREW". The plays starred E. H. SOTHERN and JULIA MARLOWE and the company included ERIC BLIND, ALBERT S. HOWSON, MALCOLM BRADLEY, JOHN TAYLOR, CHARLES TOWSON,

CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing and minor edge wear, this program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
