This is a rare autographed playbill from the Off-Broadway production of the LANGSTON HUGHES and DAVID MARTIN musical comedy flop "SIMPLY HEAVENLY" at the Renata Theatre in New York City. (The production originally opened May 21st, 1957 at the Off-Broadway 85th Street Playhouse and ran for 44 performances before moving on August 20th, 1957 to the Playhouse Theatre where the show played 62 performances. This was followed by a transfer to the Renata Theatre on November 8th, 1957 for an additional 63 performances.) .....
