This is a rare October 1957 programme (playbill) from the West End engagement of "Miss Showbusiness", JUDY GARLAND and her own All Star Variety Show at the Dominion Theatre in London. (The variety show opened October 16th, 1957 and ran for four weeks.) ..... In a career that spanned more than forty years, JUDY GARLAND (1922 - 1969) performed on stage, screen and television and her live performances were legendary. Although Garland appeared in concert as early as 1943, it was only when her film career stalled that she began regular concert appearances, beginning with a critically acclaimed 1951 concert series at the London Palladium. Garland then set a record when she appeared for 19 weeks at the Palace Theatre in New York City, also in 1956, and her 1961 concert "Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall" is often described as one of the greatest nights in show business history. She returned to the Palace Theatre in 1956 and 1967 and continued to tour until just three months prior to her death in 1969 ..... Supporting JUDY GARLAND were her "Ten Boy Friends" (LANCE AVANT, BURNELL DIETSCH, ERNIE PRESTON, JERRY STABLER, JIMMY BROOKS, BERT MAY, BILL LUNDY, MEURISSE DUREE, RICCI RICCARDI and RONNIE MARTINSEN) and opening for Judy were WARREN, DEVINE & SPARKES, "Comedy Acrobats"; NINO "The Wonder Dog";ALBERT and LES WARD "Television and Radio Personalities"; HOLGER and
