(The Broadway revival opened October 20th, 1977 at New York's Martin Beck Theatre and ran for 925 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The play starred JEAN LeCLERC in the title role and featured LETA ANDERSON, WILLIAM B. CAIN, GEOFF GARLAND, RICHARD S. LEVINE, GEORGE MARTIN, MALCOLM STEWART and LAUREN THOMPSON ..... Side Note: The production was awarded a 1978 Tony Award for "Most Innovative Production of a Revival" due primarily to the ambitious sets and breathtaking costumes designed by EDWARD GOREY. The only other Tony Award presented to "DRACULA" was for EDWARD GOREY's costume designs ..... BALDERSTON from Bram Stoker's world famous novel, "Dracula"; Sets and Costumes designed by EDWARD GOREY; Scenery supervised by LYNN PECKTAL; Costumes supervised by JOHN DAVID RIDGE; Playbill Cover illustrated by EDWARD GOREY; Directed by DENNIS ROSA; Produced by ST.
